This is my first Visual Journal EVER! I started it at a “Journal Fodder Junkies” workshop at the NCAEA conference in Asheville, NC on 10/28/2005. David Modler and Eric Scott are brilliant! Check them out. This first book took me over three years to complete. Since, then I have settled into the groove of completing a book and starting a new book every summer.

This book holds a lot of memories. I tell my students, these books are like yearbooks but so much more personal. As I flip through the pages, I am reminded of the birth of my first child, the beginning of our families Thansgiving traditions, the 2008 election, all my friends and coworkers at my previous school, and of course my artistic endeavors and focus of the moment.
