This is my third visual journal, from the 2010-2011 school year. This is the National Board book. It is full of notes and research involved in the effort towards earning my certification. It feels visually simple to me otherwise, though not unappealing. By simple I just mean there is a focus on basic shapes as visual themes rather than deep metaphorical meanings. Still, I do see a gradual leaning towards my fascination with eastern religion and philosophy which would become an obsession in Volume 6.
