My fifth visual journal is from 2012-2013. There is a lot in here about politics because it was another election year. But also, there is a focus on my veganism research. My husband and I watched way too many documentaries about the meat industry on Netflix that year and it traumatized us. The Senior Play was Hairspray that year so there is a big section in the back dealing with the set design. Also, this was the year several of my favorite students graduated. They were more friends than students. There are little notes from the throughout. Thankfully I have remained in touch with them since then. There is also a big focus on family. My husband turned forty. Also, with the addition of our baby girl, our little family of four felt very perfect and complete. There are lots of print outs from photo shoot and doodles of the kids.
