This sixth visual journal deals with the “spirituality issue”. I have struggled all my life with doubts and wonders about the afterlife. I have done much research into world religions. This book is a visual reflection of my deeper research into the eastern religions. It was also the first time I bought a visual journal with alternative paper. The toned brown paper in this book was an absolute pleasure to work with. (Strathmore Toned Tan Art Journal) I loved starting at the mid-tone and being able to work towards the highlights as well as the shadows with all of my images. The color also gave a very earthy feel to the whole book which I believe changed and effected the tone to which I approached each page. Looking back, I wonder why I haven’t yet returned to this toned brown visual journal.
